French Solidarity Tax

All commercial departures from France

Significant restructuring effective 1 March 2025. Rates from several hundred to over €2,100 per passenger depending on distance and aircraft category. Turbojet business aircraft now a separate category.

Italian Aero Taxi Tax

All charter flights to and from Italy

Per passenger fee on every leg to, from, or within Italy. €10 per passenger under 100km, €100 per passenger up to 1,500km, €200 per passenger above 1,500km. Applies to all commercial charter operations.

LSGG Geneva, All G7 restrictions lifted, normal operations resumed

Airspace restriction lifted at 03:00 LT on 18 June. PPR for charter flights back in effect. GA and BA parking available on all stands. All 35 border crossings between Geneva and France now open. Business aviation operating normally.

LSGG, Post-G7 works phase begins 21 June, no operational gap

CAT II and III approaches unavailable until 3 July 0330 UTC. Taxiway Alpha closed between position 58 and Bay Alpha until 1 July. AIRAC amendment 006/2026 permanently in effect. Verify current charts before any LSGG operation from 21 June. Crane obstacle NOTAM A0454/26 active until 10 September 2026.

Middle East, Ceasefire holding but multiple FIRs remain restricted

US and Iran ceasefire extended April 2026. Tehran FIR remains closed to commercial aviation. Bahrain FIR restrictions extended through at least August 2026. GPS interference widespread across Gulf states. Monitor NOTAMs before every operation.

French Solidarity Tax, new structure and higher rates in effect

Significant restructuring effective 1 March 2025. Turbojet business aircraft now a separate category. Long-haul rates up to €2,100 per passenger. Charter prices for French departures rose 9.2% in March and April.
