Frequently asked questions.

Who is OdinJets?

OdinJets is a Swiss private aviation brokerage based in Geneva. We specialise in bespoke private jet and turboprop charters across Europe and beyond. Our multilingual team has over 20 years of combined experience and a trusted global network of aircraft operators.

  1. Do you operate aircraft yourselves?

No. OdinJets acts as an independent broker. This means we have access to a wide range of certified operators and can always select the aircraft that best matches your trip, schedule and preferences without bias.

  2. What makes OdinJets different from other brokers?

We combine Swiss precision and discretion with deep industry know-how. Our fast response, competitive pricing and ability to tailor each flight, from aircraft choice to concierge arrangements, give you a seamless, highly personalised experience.

Booking & Planning

  1. How do I request a flight?

You can contact us by phone, email or through our online form. Provide your route, dates, number of passengers and any special requests. We respond quickly with curated options.

  2. How far in advance should I book?

Booking early secures the best choice and price, but we can arrange flights with just a few hours’ notice when required.

  3. Can I book a last-minute flight?

Yes. Our network allows us to find available aircraft at short notice. Pricing can vary depending on aircraft positioning and airport slots, but we regularly assist with urgent requests. Our record is 45 min from the moment we received the request, to the moment the jet was airborne.

  4. Can I change or cancel a flight after booking?

Yes, but conditions depend on the operator’s cancellation terms and the timing of changes. We’ll advise before confirming so you understand any possible fees.

  5. Do you offer round-trip or multi-city itineraries?

Absolutely. We can plan single or multiple legs, including aircraft waiting on the ground between stops when it’s cost-effective.

Aircraft & Empty Legs

  1. What aircraft can I charter with OdinJets?

From efficient turboprops like the Pilatus PC-12 to light, midsize and long-range jets such as the Phenom 300, Citation XLS+ or Gulfstream, we propose the right size and range for each trip.

  2. What is an empty leg flight?

An empty leg is a discounted one-way repositioning flight when an aircraft needs to fly without passengers. Booking one can save up to 50–75% compared to a standard charter, but timing and route flexibility are key.

  3. Can you modify or reroute an empty leg to suit me?

Often yes. We can ask the operator to adjust the routing or schedule when feasible, which still keeps significant savings compared to a normal charter.

  4. Are empty legs guaranteed?

Not fully, they depend on the original flight operating as planned. We always inform you of confirmation status and offer alternatives if a leg is cancelled.

  5. What’s the difference between on-demand charter and empty legs?

On-demand charters are fully guaranteed flights at the schedule you choose, while empty legs are opportunistic discounted flights tied to another passenger’s trip.

  6. Do you offer a jet card?

Yes. Our O-Jet Card gives frequent flyers guaranteed access to pre-paid hours at capped rates, priority availability and a simpler booking process.

Pricing & Payment

  1. How is pricing calculated?

It’s based on flight time, aircraft type, repositioning needs, airport and handling fees, seasonality and any special requests.

  2. Can I get a quick quote?

Yes. We usually provide detailed pricing options within minutes to a few hours after your request.

  3. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept standard bank transfers and major credit cards.

  4. Are there extra costs I should expect?

Most quotes include all standard charges. Additional fees may apply for de-icing, unusual catering, or last-minute schedule changes. We always inform you before confirming.

Onboard & Travel Experience

  1. How much luggage can I bring?

This depends on aircraft size. Turboprops like the PC-12 have large holds for skis or golf bags; light jets are more limited. We advise on baggage early to avoid surprises.

  2. Can I bring pets?

Yes. Pets are welcome on most aircraft and can stay with you in the cabin. We guide you on any paperwork required.

  3. What amenities can I expect on board?

All aircraft have comfortable seating and climate control. Many jets feature Wi-Fi, work tables, fine catering and, on larger jets, fully reclining seats or beds. We confirm features before you book.

  4. Is catering included?

Yes, light catering and drinks are usually included. We can arrange tailored menus and special requests.

  5. Is smoking allowed on board?

Most flights are non-smoking; some aircraft allow it but must be requested in advance.

Concierge & Additional Services

  1. Do you provide ground transportation and lifestyle services?

Yes. Through our trusted concierge partner, we can organise luxury transfers, hotels, villas, yachts, event access and more, all coordinated around your flight.

  2. Can you help with large groups or corporate trips?

Yes. We can source aircraft for larger groups, business events or team movements.

  3. Do you organise helicopter transfers?

Yes. Helicopters can save time by connecting airports to remote destinations or city centres.

Safety & Regulations

  1. Are the aircraft safe?

Absolutely. We only work with certified operators that meet EASA and international safety standards. Aircraft are crewed by highly qualified pilots and maintained to strict regulations.

  2. Do flights have cabin crew?

Midsize and larger jets usually have a flight attendant. Smaller jets and turboprops typically don’t but we can arrange one if needed.

  3. What travel documents do I need for international flights?

A valid passport and any necessary visas. Private terminals (FBOs) make customs and immigration fast and discreet.

  4. How early should I arrive for departure?

Usually 15–30 minutes before take-off. Your handling agent will greet you, check passports and luggage, and escort you directly to the aircraft.

  5. What happens if weather or operational issues affect my flight?

We monitor each trip in real time and work with the operator to provide solutions such as delays, aircraft swaps or alternative airports to keep your journey on track.
