Introduction & Fun Facts

The Gulfstream G200, originally launched as the Galaxy by Israel Aircraft Industries in the late 1990s, was one of the first super-midsize jets offering a truly wide cabin. Gulfstream later rebranded it after acquiring Galaxy Aerospace.

Its successor, the G280, introduced in 2012, features new Honeywell HTF7250G engines, a redesigned wing, improved avionics, and extended range, making it significantly more efficient while keeping the wide-cabin comfort Gulfstream is known for.

With a range of up to 6,700 km, these jets can connect Europe to the Middle East, Central Asia, or even parts of Africa nonstop.

Fun fact: The G280 set city-pair speed records including New York to London in under 7 hours, proving its long-haul efficiency.
